Rain checks+Coupons+Sale=$$$MM

O my! I'm so excited to share you this deal... I was paid $14.01 at Ralphs!

So last week, I shared with you how To score a big deal and pay less for cereal at Ralphs. Well, the shelves were empty of some of the cereals I realy wanted to get the deal, so I settled for an extra 10 boxes of Cheerios.

Anyhow, I had permission from the store manager to purchase the items and then do an EVEN exchange when the cereals I wanted were available. To ensure this, they gave me two rainchecks for the cereals I wanted (5 PB Crunch) and (5 Honey Nut Cheerios).

As I went to the store, I looked at my Ralphs rewards and the same coupon that I used from last week was RELOADED! So of course, I added it into my card. It was the Save $6 on 4 BIG G cereals.

I was only going to exchange 10 of my boxes, but I needed 12 to benefit the use of the coupon, so I added an extra 2 boxes of Lucky Charms (yummy!).

Here was the deal:

Returned 10 Cheerios to do an even exchange with (5 PB Crunch) and (5 Honey Nut Cheerios)

-I actually had one more Cheerios that was accidentally returned, so that made it 11.

-my thought was that the 11th Cheerios would apply to the extra cereals I added (2 lucky charms).

-then minus the $6 on four BIG Gs Ralph's card coupon.

To use this coupon, I had to use my club card, which brought the Lucky Charms to their special sale price of $2.99.

What I didn't realize (forgot) was that the BIG G save $6 coupons was valid up to FIVE transactions!!! Which meant that it not only deducted $6, but $18!!!

Then subtract the difference from the Lucky Charms (-$3.99)... I was PAID $14.01!!!

Refund: (-$1.99 x 11)

Exchanged: $1.99 x 10

Additions: $2.99 x 2

Coupon: Save $6 off 4 (limit 5x use in one transaction)... I had 12, so it's like $18 off 12

Total!!!!: (-$14.01) payout...
