The deal is per transaction but you must use it on qualifying flavors and you must have the app to get the discount.
The APP can take about 24 hours tho for it to update says their site, so plan your trip to DQ accordingly. Mine showed up within 30 minutes of uploading the app. I CAN’T wait!!!! Yummy in my tummy :)
I am really loving the CVS app! It makes shopping so easy and so clear and I’m not at the store for like three hours. I don’t have to dress up and change my clothes and make myself look pretty or even hide behind a mask with a cap on. I can just shop online, order my products, and then pick up my items later on throughout the week as long as it’s within three days. I honestly have lost some of my items that I bought because I couldn’t pick up the stuff, but in the long run it does save me a lot of time. So today I am going to go over this week’s shop that I’ve purchased. It’s not a lot. I really just needed to use up some of my extra bucks because they’re expiring this week.

I love discovering new places to eat. Especially when it comes to seafood. The best foods, I think, are the ones that are just hidden around the corner. Tora Tora sushi was one of those kind of restaurants. And I hope you will never go away!
This is not a big and well-known restaurant, but I give this restaurant five stars and definitely beats those high priced restaurants that takes forever to get seated or service. Emily was the name of our host, taking our order and serving the dishes. She was so kind and so pleasant and so lovely. The restaurant had a very calm and relaxing environment with some chill music playing throughout.
The meal came out, hot and ready to eat! I got the Rolling with the sidekicks combo plus an order of the dragon roll. I didn’t think the salad would be that big, but it felt like an extra meal to the side plus miso soup.
This place was amazing! And I hope you can make the time to stop by and try the sushi.

* I probably should have put this in the Weekend Category, but if you get the Rolling with the sidekicks combo then you will definitely get a great deal! For this combo at $18, it can feed two people if you're wanting to share a salad and soup and the other eat the sushi. It's very filling indeed!
How much are salons these days? Perhaps it’s not a matter of cost, but rather the time to actually go. So, since I can’t go, when I need to go, I really just wanted something that would keep my nails, nice and clean and shiny. Especially when washing and using hand sanitizer at work all the time. So for those of you out there who want a “keeping it simple” lifestyle at any affordable price, then I hope this item fits into your lifestyle. I know it has in mine!
P.S. Yes, these are my real nails! Eeks!

The lights are out, the lights out! The electricity has been off since 3 AM this morning in my neighborhood, across the street, and throughout the stores in the area. Stores are closed and there are police cars guarding them to make sure no one tries to break in and steal anything. On top of that, it’s been raining for the last few days so parts of the community is flooded! It’s been a crazy weekend, but you gotta make the most of it… don’t you agree?
So what do you do when the power is out and it’s a rainy day? Well, some of us will resort, lighting, candles, and eating leftovers, or digging through our pantry to see what kind of chips and cookies we can binge on. Not in this house! I enjoy cooking, but my mom loves it more. So what does she cook? Sinigang!
Sinigang is a Filipino soup dish with a sour and savory taste. It’s a very easy dish to cook. So easy I tell people just look at the picture on the powder packet and get those ingredients, put them in water and add the powder. Of course there’s a few things that you want to do when making this dish. You can use any protein, such as beef, pork, fish, shrimp, or even tofu. Like any soup, remove any fat that builds up on the top when cooking the protein. Cook your protein until it’s tender, add the soup powder (picture at the bottom - Tamarind). Then your veggies - I like using gabi (taro) instead of regular potatoes, but either one works - put this first in the soup since it takes longer to soften than the other veggies put after.
Most common veggies that are used include spinach, long beans, tomatoes, onion, and eggplants. Sometimes I like to use bok choy or add broccoli out of all the ingredients, though, you need the tamarind soup powder. I like the Pamana Tamarind Soup powder. The one shown has six packets, so that you can stock up and have it ready for the next time.
Have you tried it? Do you have your own special recipe? Please share, so we can try it! ENJOY!

The best part about early shopping is beating the sales the day after Thanksgiving. It’s hard enough looking for the perfect gifts for our loved ones and then having to go on a Black Friday for something that may or may not be there. Good luck on buying the items online and expecting to pick it up also. So here’s some items worth looking at to start crossing out your Christmas List.

When the pandemic hit in 2020 with COVID-19, there were so many people who lost their jobs and did not have enough food to put on the table. Feeding San Diego is a program that helps distribute food to families within the community. Food can also be picked up for your family at participating community churches, centers, and sites where volunteers from all parts of San Diego join together to help each other feed the community.
I remember the first time I went to a community Feeding San Diego event. It was at the Navy Federal credit union Stadium parking lot. It was a fairly far drive from where I lived, and there were hundreds of people there. The process was very simple. You just had to go online and pre-register. But even if you did not pre- register, the volunteers can register you right there. You can also pick up food for your family or friends that also need food.
The locations vary and the foods that are distributed varies as well. Some areas give out strawberries, some give out oranges and apples, sometimes ground turkey or whole chicken frozen will also be included in addition to a box filled with canned goods plus milk plus dry foods, like noodles and oatmeal. Sometimes they give so much I’m able to share it with my neighbors. It’s such a wonderful program. Food is donated from grocery stores, farmers, and all different types of vendors to help participate in the program. Volunteers are always on the lookout, so if you’re interested just go to the website and apply. you can apply individually or as a group. Either way they are happy to have you. I know I appreciate the help. So this is my way of saying thank you to Feeding San Diego. I hope that sharing this information helps reach out to more people in our local community for food and to also get more volunteers.
So if you’re a family in need, don’t be shy. I know I was and I even cried the first time I went. Such a beautiful and wonderful gesture of the community to reach out to everyone. There’s no judgment, no questions, just a helping hand reaching out to those in need. We each have battles of our own that we go through each and every day, so be kind to each other and love each other and smile, you never know who’s heart and who’s life you’ve just changed. Have a wonderful and blessed day!
