One thing I’ve learned this year was how to sew!
When quarantine started in March, there was a fear of the lack of protective personal equipment at the hospital, so I was on a mission to make masks for my colleagues who worked in the hospital. With the help of my mom and my wonderful husband, we were able to make over 1000 masks. It is now August and we have continued making masks for our community, family and friends. We have been a part of the 5000 mass challenge, delivery of the smile masks to the mute/hard of hearing community, and kits for first responders to represent ME/CFS. it used to be I had to look for wholesale stores that would sell products at a very discounted price, because there was a shortage of fabric everywhere. But who agrees with me when I say that Joanne and hobby lobby has the most beautiful prints ever. I will not tell you how much I’ve personally spent on fabric, but because of the craziness of quarantine and COVID, I didn’t even think about using coupons to the max. I would use it for a few pieces here there and wait for the free shipping. Well, low and behold, I came across Joann’s coupon policy site (and a forum) and it mentioned that you can use more than one coupon!!! Wwhhhaaaatt???!!! So guess what? I had to try it. Didn’t it work? Oh yes it did! So I’m here to share with you what I’ve learned to help me save more. 1) Joann price matches:
