Pay what?!!

HATE is such a strong word, but LOVE is even greater!

And the PAYLESS store is absolutely one of my most favorite and I HEART store!

Why? Well, aside from all the other name brand stores that are out there, I find the quality of shoes to be affordable. Not just for me, but for those parents out there whose kids run around and scrape their shoes like crazy from running to jumping to climbing, your heart melts (just a little bit... or a lot), when you see a scrape on the $60 Nordstrom shoes that you just bought yesterday on your kid's shoes!

$60 shoes? A shoe that's half the size of an adult's? I don't even wear $60 shoes, so why in the world am I going to spend $60 on kid's shoes?

I love my children and I do want the best for them, but that I do also have to realize what they need vs. what they want or what I want.

My youngest is 5 years old, so at this point, she just wants one that has pretty colors. The other child is 9 years old and she just wants something that will make him run faster. The other day, my parents wanted to take the kids out and buy shoes and you know what the boy said, "I want CHAMPION shoes." They thought he just wants to be winner, but of course, mommy knows best. I told them that he wants his shoes from Payless.

They kind of looked at me and was like, "Are you serious?" I smiled and said, "Yes, cause he's a champion." I winked at them and I saw a smile on my kiddo's face.
