My Shop Lift List

Do you guys want to know how I shop? Maybe… maybe not.

Well, here ya’ go.

First, I look for the idea deals that come out on Sundays. Then, I go to coupontom.com and see if there are any coupons available for that deal.

For groceries, I go to grocerysmarts.com. What makes this site awesome is that all the matchups are done for you AND they have it available as an app, so if you have to be at the store, you can pull it up and cut out your coupons before heading in.

So now that the deals are matched up with things that I need (or don’t need, but will get, cause they’re either cheap or FREE), I make out a list.

The list is super helpful, because it keeps me focused on what to buy. It also keeps me from my compulsive buying habit.
After my list, I cut out my coupons and put them neatly in my little coupon book (which is categorized by stores, NOT by product). It’s just too much for me to organize the coupons by product. And by the way, my coupons are organized by Inserts in a crate with tabs in between divided by months… NOT in a binder categorized by products either. My printed coupons, however, will stay in my binder by product, because they’re cut and will be kept more organized. It’s remembering that the coupons are there that makes it harder for me to use.

Well, here’s my list… thought I’d share what my shop is like for the week. One thing I don’t do is buy everything that’s a deal. I always go for the FREE stuff, because I know I can donate them, and then I buy a lot of the better deals that I know I can use for my home or for family and friends.

If I were to just buy (1) piece of each item, my total spent after rewards, rebates, and catalinas would be approximately: $4.00… my OOP would be like $10, but overall, $4.00 would be just it. Neat huh?
