My couches was in major need of TLC since the winter holidays.

I've been looking around for affordable upholstery cleaning services, but either they were too expensive for my budget or unavailable... Buhu!

So when my daughter decided to do this.... See pic below... I was done waiting and using baby wipes for clean up.

I decided to go shopping and looked everywhere for a vacuum that swooped and sweeped and swashed the things I needed for it to do... Major things in my book... But within my budget. We used to have a Rainbow Vaccuum and I was so going to call up hubby to buy a Hoover one, but I knew that was just over our budget right now.

So finally I find one at Bed Bath and Beyond - it was a Hoover 2 in 1. It had okay reviews, but I didn't care... I needed something! Plus I was going to price match it to another competitor so I felt good. Unfortunately, it wasn't available at my store!!! Ahhhh! "I AM NOT LEAVING UNTIL I FIND SOMETHING!" To clean my poor abused couches that is. I could not go home to the spilled juice mixed with ice cream and chocolate mess my daughter had made. Would you?!

So I got the BISSEL LIFT OFF DEEP CLEANER - Pet... It got 4 1/2 stars out of FIVE from Amazon and BBB, so I figure, "Ok... I do have pets so that's a bonus." AND if all things fail, it's returnable... Yes!! So I bought it and used my 20% coupon (Yes, I got my coupon...) and got this baby for $202... It would cost me $179 at Sears for upholstery service and this equipment is $488 if purchased at Sears, so I saved more than 50%.

Wow! I know my stuff right? I have to... Why? Cause when my husband confronts me for my reasoning of buying it, I have reviews, pictures, and prices all lined up for back up... Hahaha! You know what I'm talking about ladies!!!

So guess what I cleaned first? Of course, the love seat with the cup holders...

O my! My eyes was amazed! I was hooked! The fact that I had this powerful machine do this, I felt like a housewife on steroids... I went and attacked one couch after the other... Eeww! I was disgusted that my little ones had laid on this couch for naps. It was so yucky that the toilet was much cleaner...

I didn't feel so bad for the guests since we haven't really had any since winter.. But I do have four kids, four dogs, nieces/ nephews/ and cousins, so bring it on icky stinky germs... As for killing bacteria, this Bissell has the heated cleaning action that a steamer does. Yay!

The last couch was my overall approval of this equipment.
