After dropping off the kids to school, I regularly pass by these stores on my way home, so my mileage is all the same. If I went home and then went back to the store and went back home and then went back (passing the same stores) to pick up the kids, then "yes," it'd be wasting gas... So plan your shopping trips wisely by knowing what you're going to buy (with the right coupons in hand) as well as the route you're going to take. *** See Also:

Maybe… maybe not.
Well, here ya’ go. First, I look for the idea deals that come out on Sundays. Then, I go to coupontom.com and see if there are any coupons available for that deal. For groceries, I go to grocerysmarts.com. What makes this site awesome is that all the matchups are done for you AND they have it available as an app, so if you have to be at the store, you can pull it up and cut out your coupons before heading in. So now that the deals are matched up with things that I need (or don’t need, but will get, cause they’re either cheap or FREE), I make out a list. The list is super helpful, because it keeps me focused on what to buy. It also keeps me from my compulsive buying habit. |
