Workshops such as these are worth thousands of dollars. I remember trying to register for one and it was just too much. I've had to resort to googling information and with the pros and cons all in the way, it was hard for me to make the decisions I wanted for my family's financial future.
These workshops helped me stay organized and focused and the people there were amazing! Believing in their mission and vision, I, myself, have become a part of their cause to educate families. To help one person everyday and show them that there is a solution to their situation. Whether it be debt to wealth or college to retirement planning, I became my own financial manager and am able to take control of my family's future and build a foundation that is strong and safe. In support of the mission, I want to share this with my community and invite you all to their upcoming events. If you are interested in joining me on this cause or have questions, please click HERE (Use code 30KEG) and together we will fight against poverty, financial illiteracy... with that, we must first begin with our own family - in our home. Offer Up is one of my favorite places to get rid of things my family and I no longer need. So if you're looking to de-clutter your home or even offer services that you are skillfully talented in like baking or making leis and more, then utilize this free tool to save and earn some extra income. Or if you're looking for some great deals, then search in your local area.
"Other people's junk is some else's treasure." Also, check out what I have in my shop. Today, I posted some hair color sprays. Snag it before someone else does. Enjoy! Yes, it's that time of month! It's back-to-school season and the deals are in! Earlier this week, I went to Office Depot and picked up some one cent college paper for my son. I also snagged some awesome pencil deals and some crayons and colored ones too for the little ones at Walmart. Those are the two stores right now who have the best deals for back to school supplies. I'd like to say Staples, but personally, there's not a close one to my home to actually apply it. This week Target has a bonus on kids apparel. Enjoy and happy shopping. For the past few weeks, I've been trying to figure out ways to cost effectively maintain my skin without having to buy expensive acne and cleanser products. I've tried pro-activ, I've tried murad, and I've also tried over the counter brands like Nuetrogena, and Almay. They all worked well for me. My skin changes seasonally so each season I have to try something new. This time, I've been reading about coffee. You see, I really enjoy drinking coffee and in the past, I've heard that the coffee grounds after a brew can be used for potting soil. I remember picking up bags and bags of Starbucks coffee grounds and bringing them home for my mom to use. She never used them. Well, hubby and I have the Verismo coffee maker and I saved the pods so that I can re-use them again. Well, while I was researching on natural and use what you got at home recipes for the face, I saw that coffee grounds can be used for other things besides soil and drinking. You can can use it on your skin! If you use a teaspoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of used coffee grounds, you can use it as a fresh facial scrub on your face! I love the smell of coffee so it was so nice. The honey that's mixed in moisturizes the skin. Often times, I'll use products that have salicyc acid or benzoin in it and it would dry out my skin. Then, when I would use a moisturizer with SPF, it would just make my skin oily and then I would break out somewhere else. So far, this regimen has not. I've used it day and night and it's kept my face clean and acne free (for now at least - I hope longer!) For the acne scars, I'm using lemon or kalamansi to lighten it. I use a q-tip and dunk it in the juice I squeezed out and apply it to the areas that darkened. So far, so good. Give it a try and tell me what your experience is like! Don't throw those left over coffee grounds just yet u too you try this. Enjoy! |
